I love Olly Murs! It’s official. I even tried to vote for him, which seeing as I have been an X Factor afficionado for however many years may not seem surprising, but actually I rarely vote. But Olly’s wiggly hips have worked their magic. I’m bored with the whole ‘pretty girl can sing well’ thing. I think it’s time for the pretty BOY to triumph X Factor and Olly’s got my vote. He is also an awesome singer and is working a bit of geezer charm.
I can’t actually remember what song he sang now.. apologies I have neglected my X Factor blogging duties and should have posted earlier, but I was running a half marathon and now my brain is suffering along with the rest of my body! But no matter, he could have been singing anything and I’d still love him! It was great.
However, what I do remember, and may never forget, is the twins. Oh. My. God. You almost feel sorry for them, but they are 18! They should know better. Wild creatures from outer Mongolia should know better. But actually, this week they made a good move because they were so incredibly wrong they were sort of alright. Singing Britney ‘Oops I did it again’ (the pun here is too glaringly obvious that I won’t even bother) they copied her exact music video – including red leather outfits and dance moves. They also decided for some unknown reason that they should include the Titanic dialogue. Cheryl almost wet herself.
So… who’s to go? I’m afraid the twins may again be saved. STOP VOTING FOR THEM! Who is actually voting for them? own up now and be shamed. I’m thinking we should lose the Scottish boy. Dull dull dull.
Hope you’re all tuning in later. Whitney is performing which is amazing and possibly Cheryl will be too. Although rumour has it she is scared of being upstaged by the queen of pop. Come on Miss Cole, rise to it, a pre-record on X Factor would be a tad hypocritical.
